Invisalign

Invisalign  Invisalign is an alternative to conventional braces that can straighten and align teeth.  Clear aligners, which are like retainers, are worn daily to move teeth into the desired alignment.  Each aligner is changed out every two weeks. An Invisalign treatment averages 6-9 months of wear, which is often times shorter than conventional brackets or braces.  Aligners can be removed to floss and properly clean teeth.  They can be taken out for special events and allow more freedom than braces.  To begin the treatment, impressions of the teeth are made and sent to the Invisalign lab in Irvine CA, so a treatment plan and computer generated simulation can be viewed by each patient.  This is a wonderful tool for the patient and doctor to view a before and after simulation.
